Adhesives by application what are you making?

Start from what you make. Each page explains what matters for that product, lists our grades for it with their typical values, and lets you ask for samples, datasheets or a quotation.

How it works

How do you choose an adhesive by application?

An application page at Advance Adhesives starts from what a converter makes, rather than from our grade names. There are 11 of them: double-sided tapes, foam tapes, aluminium foil tapes, PET, PP and coloured film tapes, masking and removable tapes, surface-protection films and tapes, BOPP and packaging tapes, labels, decals, signage and window films, film lamination and holograms, electrical and insulation tapes and mattresses, foam and upholstery. Each page lists the grades we make for that use, with their typical peel, tack and shear values, the substrates they bond and what matters when you choose. We measured the values of our solvent acrylic grades in our own laboratory according to PSTC methods, with the adhesive coated on 1 mil PET at 25 ± 2 gsm. Every page leads to samples, quotations and technical help. When no standard grade fits, our technical team formulates a custom solvent acrylic PSA to the customer’s specification.

Custom grades

We make a grade thicker or thinner at the same solids, make any ADCRYL™ grade non-flammable or fire-retardant on request, and formulate custom solvent acrylic PSAs to a customer’s specification.
