What is HYDRO AP 117?

HYDRO AP 117 is a water-based acrylic emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA), made by Advance Adhesives Private Limited in Belagavi, India. Recommended applications: bonding paper, cardboard, fabric and plastic in packaging, automotive and construction. It is made for converters who want a water-borne acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, with good tack and peel and fast drying on the line. It removes cleanly. As an emulsion in water, it has no organic solvent to handle. It is made for BOPP packaging tapes and carton-sealing tapes, and HYDRO AP 253PF is a second acrylic emulsion PSA from the same water-based range. Advance Adhesives has made solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesives in Belagavi since 1995, and its quality system has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV India since 2018.
