PSTC-107, 25 × 25 mm, 1 kg

We measured these values in our own laboratory according to PSTC methods: 180° peel on a stainless-steel plate, with the adhesive coated on 1 mil PET at 25 ± 2 gsm. Viscosity is measured with a Brookfield RVD11 viscometer, spindle 5, at 10 rpm and 25 °C.

Recommended for

Foam substrates; XLPE, PE, PP, Alu foil tape, Alu foam tape etc.

Catalogue note: 2 components, high solids & high performance

Adhesives by application: Double-sided tapes · Foam tapes · Aluminium foil tapes

Using it

  • First, dilute with ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons or esters; mixes of aliphatic hydrocarbons can also be used. Solvents must be anhydrous.
  • Finally, dry the coating thoroughly in the coating machine: residual solvent lowers the adhesive's performance.

What is ADCRYL™ AP 1765?

ADCRYL™ AP 1765 is a two-component, high-solids, high-performance solvent acrylic PSA at a coatable viscosity, for curved surfaces, plastics, PU, PE and cross-linked foams, and double-face tapes. Mix 100 parts adhesive to 1 part Advance Hardener, made by Advance Adhesives Private Limited in Belagavi, India. Recommended applications: foam substrates; XLPE, PE, PP, aluminium foil tape, aluminium foam tape etc. Typical values are 64 ± 2% solids, a viscosity of 50 – 90 poise, 180° peel adhesion of 2500 ± 10% gf/25 mm (PSTC-101, stainless-steel plate), loop tack of 2000 – 2500 gf/inch, rolling-ball tack of 17 – 20 cm (PSTC-106) and shear resistance of more than 18 hours (PSTC-107, 25 × 25 mm, 1 kg). Appearance: transparent viscous liquid. It is supplied in 200 kg drums and has a shelf life of 6 months. Datasheets, safety data sheets and samples are available from the Advance Adhesives sales team.
