We measured these values in our own laboratory according to PSTC methods: 180° peel on a stainless-steel plate, with the adhesive coated on 1 mil PET at 25 ± 2 gsm. Viscosity is measured with a Brookfield RVD11 viscometer, spindle 5, at 10 rpm and 25 °C.

What is ADCRYL™ AP 1252R?

ADCRYL™ AP 1252R is a two-pack, crystal-clear solvent acrylic PSA designed for carpet surface-protection films, with high peel strength, high tack and moderate shear. It removes easily, leaves no adhesive behind after ageing, and also suits glass surface-protection films and PVC labels, made by Advance Adhesives Private Limited in Belagavi, India. Recommended applications: high tack, carpet protection removable tape. Typical values are 53 ± 2% solids, a viscosity of 20 – 30 poise, 180° peel adhesion of 1100 ± 10% gf/25 mm (PSTC-101, stainless-steel plate), loop tack of 900 – 1100 gf/inch, rolling-ball tack of 15 – 20 cm (PSTC-106) and shear resistance of more than 150 hours (PSTC-107, 25 × 25 mm, 1 kg). We measured peel, tack and shear in our own laboratory according to PSTC methods, with the adhesive coated on 1 mil PET at 25 ± 2 gsm.
