What is ADCRYL™ AP 0140?
ADCRYL™ AP 0140 is a solvent acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA), made by Advance Adhesives Private Limited in Belagavi, India. Recommended applications: film lamination. Typical values are 38 ± 2% solids, a viscosity of 0.2 – 1.0 poise, 180° peel adhesion of 250 ± 10% gf/25 mm (PSTC-101, stainless-steel plate), loop tack of 150 – 250 gf/inch and shear resistance of more than 75 hours (PSTC-107, 25 × 25 mm, 1 kg). We measured peel, tack and shear in our own laboratory according to PSTC methods, with the adhesive coated on 1 mil PET at 25 ± 2 gsm. Additionally, when a standard grade does not meet a specification, the Advance Adhesives technical team formulates a custom solvent acrylic PSA to match it. Datasheets, safety data sheets and samples are available from the Advance Adhesives sales team.
