What is ADCRYL™ AP 250R?
ADCRYL™ AP 250R is a solvent acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA), made by Advance Adhesives Private Limited in Belagavi, India. Recommended applications: paper masking tape; low peel, high tack, high shear, removable tapes. Typical values are 30 ± 2% solids, a viscosity of 0.50 – 2.50 poise, 180° peel adhesion of 150 ± 30 gf/25 mm (PSTC-101, stainless-steel plate), loop tack of 120 – 160 gf/inch, rolling-ball tack of 8 – 12 cm (PSTC-106) and shear resistance of more than 1500 hours (PSTC-107, 25 × 25 mm, 1 kg). We measured peel, tack and shear in our own laboratory according to PSTC methods, with the adhesive coated on 1 mil PET at 25 ± 2 gsm. Additionally, when a standard grade does not meet a specification, the Advance Adhesives technical team formulates a custom solvent acrylic PSA to match it. Datasheets, safety data sheets and samples are available from the Advance Adhesives sales team.
